This VELUX GPL 3070 has replaced the now discontinued GPL 3050 window and comes with the "Safety 70" glazing option with a laminated inner pane and enhanced strength outer pane as illustrated in the table below: -

Safety 70 Glazing Features

The window is top-hung, allowing you to open the window fully outwards from the top hinge, giving uninterrupted views outside. All top-hung windows also come with a central pivot hinge to allow the window to be flipped 180 degrees for easy cleaning of the outer pane.
