This solar powered window does not require any external power supply. It operates solely via the sun's energy and comes with a top of the range touch-screen control pad that can operate windows, blinds, awnings and roller shutters individually or in groups from any room in the building.
This window also comes with an enhanced safety laminated inner pane, known as the Safety70 pane.
The New Generation of VELUX Windows are equipped with ThermoTechnology featuring high performance EPS insulation materials to increase the energy efficiency of the window.
The same bracket is now used for both recessed and standard installations, with a red / blue colour coding system, to make for much simpler installation. Click-on covers also aid the installation process and reduces the number of screws required.
All New Gen windows also come with an aluminium ventilation flap to allow fresh air in even with the window is securely closed. Specially designed to allow you to see whether the flap is open or closed from any angle in the room.
