If you are removing skirtings prior to laying, then re-installing afterwards, they will cover that 10mm expansion gap. However, if you don’t want that hassle, these scotia mouldings can be installed to create a clean border around the edge of your and cover the expansion gap.
Kahrs scotia comes in a choice of solid oak, solid walnut or solid white pine, designed to match in to your skirting, and is also available in a choice of 18mm x 18mm or 25mm x 25mm.
