The semi-transparent colouring on the Kahrs Oak Nouvel flooring allows the warmer hues to come through, giving the floor a light colour balance and a classically Nordic expression.
The Oak Nouvel is a 1-strip floor, meaning the full width of the plank is covered in a single strip of oak.
Four-sided microbevelling at the edges ensures a classic, full plank look and feel. Each Kahrs Oak Nouvel board is carefully brushed to bring out the character of the timber and highlight the texture of the wood. The nature oil finish eliminates glare while protecting the wood from daily wear.
We recommend a second coat of the Kahrs Satin Oil is applied, once the floor is laid, to seal into the joints.
Each board measures 2420 x 187 x 15mm with a 3.5mm wear layer that can be re-sanded 2 – 3 times. The Oak Nouvel comes with a 30 year Kahrs guarantee and benefits from the innovative Woodloc 5S click joint, making the installation of the floor quick and easy as each board locks tightly into place on both the long and short-edge for a gap-free floor without the need for any adhesive.
