Marine Plywood
This product is manufactured from a selection of hardwood species. The board is normally manufactured with an odd number of plies, each ply being oriented at 90 degrees to the one bonded to it in order to create a balanced construction.
Marine Plywood is treated to resist rotting in a high-moisture environment. The construction is such that it can be used in environments where it is exposed to moisture for long periods.

Size: 2440mm x 1220mm x 9mm. Larger sizes are sometimes available to order.
Grades Available: B/BB. B face normally (but not exclusively) a single piece veneer virtually defect free and sanded smooth. BB face has minor defects that are permitted within strict limits provided they are filled (if open) and sanded reasonably smooth.
Adhesive: Generally Phenol Formaldehyde but the revised 2003 standard allows alternative adhesives provided that the bond quality meets Class 3 to BS EN 314
Durability: Meets the requirements of BS EN 636-3, Plywood Specifications (Unprotected Exterior Uses)
