Ideal for rooms with a high humidity level, the white finished roof window is great for bathrooms, kitchens alike. The unique Fakro design has an easy open handle at the bottom on the sash, with two secure opening positions. The FTU-V U3 roof window is manufactured in high quality, knot free redwood pine, which is triple coated with polyurethane lacquer for a beautiful white finish. The external part of the roof window is clad in aluminium that is both UV and weather resistant, for a very long lasting and durable addition to the home.
Glazing Type: U3 Standard Double Glazing (U –value 1.0 W/m2K). Fakro have a 6% larger glazed are, than comparable manufactures windows, this allows more natural light into the home.
Compatibility: Suitable for roofs with pitches between 15 and 90 (use with flashing).
Opening: The centre pivot design is made so that the sash can be opened in a range of positions; this lets you control the amount of fresh air you want to let into the room.
Cleaning: For easy cleaning the sash rotates through 180 and locked in that position, which allows you to clean the outside of the window pane from the inside. The white polyurethane makes the internal part of the window incredible easy to wipe clean.
Ventilation: FAKRO unique V40P automatic air vent, which is activated by natural changes in the air pressure and adjusts its self to reduce heat loss and risk on condensation.
