Both products are industry leaders and utilised in many different sectors.
Both
Correx Floor Protection and
Pro-Tex Film perform similar jobs but have some slight differences.
The
Correx Polypropylene Boards mainly offer impact protection and also help guard against dirt, dust and spills.
The
Pro-tex films also offer protection from dirt, dust and spills but the main advantage it has is protecting against possible trip hazards; unlike traditional dust sheets which can be quite cumbersome.
The two products also offer different applications based on the task at hand:
Correx Boards: General protection of: floors, doors, timber, glass, window sills, worktops and sanitary-ware
Pro-tex Film: Floors, hallways, stairs. The main advantages of the Pro-Tex is that it runs freely under doors, it overlaps to cover larger areas and does not present a trip hazard compared with traditional dust sheets.
The 70mu thickness of the
Pro-Tex film is also slightly thicker than some alternatives which are usually thinner - typically about 50mu.
