Here at Ken's Yard we offer two different fire protection insualtion products, the Promat Supalux and the Promat MASTERBOARD® .
The Promat SUPALUX® is a strong, lightweight non-combustible building board for use in many fire resisting and general purpose building applications.
SUPALUX® is a high performance, calcium silicate board which can be used in constructions providing up to 240 minutes of protection. It is simple to work and fix, easy to decorate, resistant to the effects of moisture and will not rot or decay.
Promat SUPALUX® is off-white in colour and has a smooth surface on one face with a lightly textured sanded reverse face.
Promat MASTERBOARD® is a versatile Class 0 building board suitable for use in a wide range of internal and semi-exposed applications. It is a material of limited combustibility and can be used in constructions providing up to 30 minutes fire protection. Like the SUPALUX® , it is simple to work and fix, easy to decorate, resistant to the effects of moisture and will not rot or decay.
