Building regulations instruct that certain doors within your property will need to be fire resistant up to 30 minutes. If you are replacing existing doors, the quick way to determine which are fire doors is to measure the thickness of the door. Standard doors typically measure 35mm thickness, whereas fire doors will be at least 40mm thick.
